Custom crossbody bags questions, answered.
Everything buyers ask before they order — minimums, timings, artwork and print options.
What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 bags, with bulk tiers as quantities grow. Slings, vegan leather styles, phone slings, belt bags, ripstop utility bags and anti-theft builds all carry the same minimum.
How fast will my crossbody bags arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and bags ship in about 2 weeks. Custom hardware finishes and woven-patch decoration can add a few days, and we confirm a real ship date in writing before you commit rather than after.
Where do crossbody bags actually fail?
At the strap junction, almost every time. A crossbody hangs its entire load from two small attachment points and shock-loads them with every step, so the failure is a tab tearing out, a D-ring pulling its stitch box, or a swivel snap whose spring gate has worn open. The panel is usually untouched. We bar-tack the tabs into a stitch box, wrap the webbing around the ring rather than butting it, and use welded rings rather than split ones.
What strap drop should I choose?
Ask for the drop rather than the strap length, because drop is what you actually feel. Drop is the vertical distance from the top of the shoulder to the top of the bag: under about 20 inches the bag rides on the ribs and swings into the arm, and around 22 to 24 inches it sits on the hip, which is what most people mean by comfortable. We quote the strap adjustment range in inches and the drop range it produces, so you are choosing a fit.
Does strap width matter?
More than almost anything else on a bag that gets worn all day. A narrow webbing strap concentrates the whole load on a thin line across the trapezius and starts to hurt within an hour; a wider strap spreads the same load and costs almost nothing extra. Thin round cords look elegant and are the worst offenders. We state the strap width on every quote and will tell you when your chosen look is going to be uncomfortable.
How can my logo be applied to such a small panel?
Carefully, and usually not with a big print. A crossbody front panel is often under seven inches wide, it curves over a gusset and it frequently has a zip or a strap tab crossing it, so a design that looks right on a flat proof lands warped or clipped. We use a woven or leatherette patch, embroidery on a stabilised backing, a deboss on coated faces, or a screen print kept inside the flat zone, and we show the placement on the actual panel shape at mockup.
Is vegan leather the same as leather?
No. It is a coated fabric — a polyurethane or PVC surface over a woven or knit backing — and we describe it that way on every quote. The advantages are real: consistent colour, lighter weight, no hide variation across a run. The limits are real too, in that PVC stiffens and cracks with cold and flex, and a coating over a loose knit crazes at fold lines. We state the coating type and the backing so you know which version you are buying.
Are your anti-theft bags secure?
They are deterrents, and that is the only word we will use. A locking zip pull defeats the one-second unzip in a crowd, a steel or aramid cable through the strap defeats a slash, and a shielded pocket blocks contactless reads. Each buys time and effort. None of them stops a determined thief with time and both hands, and no bag does. We would rather tell you that than sell you certainty that does not exist.
